Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is set to launch on 18th of August 2020, and we are more excited than ever!
If it weren’t for the first Microsoft Flight Simulator Software in the early 2000s , Virtual Fly would not be a reality, and our thousands of customers would not be enjoying their daily flight sim sessions with their high-quality peripherals.
That is why, on the 9th of June 2019, after watching what was once of the most amazing announcement trailers of the year, Virtual Fly decided that one of our main purposes that year would be to make all our flight sim equipment compatible with the new software and help in any way we could, to make this a reality, and help Microsoft in the chase to create an ultimate simulation experience.
Virtual Fly’s R&D and Engineering departments started working together with the Microsoft team in Seattle and the Asobo team in France. The aim was to reach excellence in the functionality of our flight sim equipment with the new software, and after hard work we are proud to announce that we are one of the first manufacturers delivering 100% compatible MSFS2020 peripherals.
Are the YOKO+ / RUDDO+ / V3RNIO+ / V3RNIO / TQ3+ / TQ6+ flight controls compatible with MSFS2020?
Absolutely! We have been working with Microsoft and Asobo teams to bring our controls to MSFS2020. On August 18, you will be able to connect our PLUS flight controls and MSFS2020 will recognize and configure them automatically. Our Test&Calibrate (beta version) is available to download from https://www.virtual-fly.com/wp-content/uploads/VFTestCalibrateSetup-v3.3.17-1.zip. Make sure to download it to get TQ3+ / TQ6+ complete functionality since MSFS2020 doesn’t support REVERSE / FEATHER / CUT OFF zones yet. A final Test&Calibrate will be available in the following days.

Is the COMPOSS compatible with MSFS2020?
We have been working on our Control Panel to bring COMPOSS to MSFS2020. The VF Control Panel is available to download from https://www.dropbox.com/s/wbhur8p6s3nvbg6/VFControlPanelSetup-FS2020.msi?dl=1. Please remind that this is a beta version. A final version will be released soon.
Is the VFG1000 compatible with MSFS2020?
We have limited compatibility with a BETA software. We expect to have full compatibility as soon as possible. In the following image you have in green the inputs that are currently working.
At the moment, the OUTER ALT knob, the COM1/COM2 swap and NAV1/NAV2 swap do not work as expected. You can find the BETA version of the software here: https://www.virtual-fly.com/wp-content/uploads/VF-G1000-ControlPanel-5.zip.We will continue to update it as we find new ways to make it work while we wait for MSFS2020 to release a supported solution.
To get the pop-outs, hold down the Alt Gr (the right Alt key, next to the keyboard) while hovering the PDF or MFD of the in-game G1000. The cursor will change to a plus sign, then left click and the window will get out. If you pop-out the PFD and the MFD, both screens will be combined in the same windows.
Now, to have them in different windows, click on the + sign. Now drag the windows to the corresponding screen, make sure that you do not resize them. Once you have them in the screen you want, please ALT + ENTER to make them full screen.
Are our flight panels and/or flight simulators compatible with MSFS2020?
Our flight panels and/or flight simulators work using FSUIPC. There is a beta version of FSUIPC7 (for MSFS2020 only) available to download from this link: http://www.fsuipc.com/download/FSUIPC7.zip. For now our flight panels and/or flight simulators users can downloads, install and try it. In these links you will find what has been tested from our SOLO GA / SOLO AIRLINER / SOLO AIRLINER RS: Gauges & Switches and Encoders. We cannot offer support for FSUIPC7 as it is in a beta state. If there is any issues we will be very happy to receive all the feedback around the panel performance at [email protected]
