Who´s that pilot?

The end of the year claims for remembering and among our memories we can´t forget that pilot who gave us our first ride.

Once again, Christmas is back and it hits you…. you can´t avoid it.

Christmas greetings, commercials on TV, postcards, gifts, dinners here and there, emails and phone calls to those beloved family members and friends we will not meet, and for some of us Christmas comes with the same old thought “another year has passed…they go by so fast”.

We all share our time and energy with those close to us. You will find yourself in a very nice table with food …and then you will remember him/her.

You will remember the person that was the Pilot-In-Command the very first time you jumped on a General Aviation or Ultralight airplane. That person full of skills capable of flying such a bunch of metal, wings, gauges and switches. And it got you right there. You could have been flying for the rest of the day, but you had to land back. You put your foot on the ground and then you realized you wouldn´t be a complete person unless you could have your hands on the controls.

Some made it and became private or sport pilots. Others are equally happy flying at home. But all of us will always remember that person. The person that made the change on our heads. The person that made aviation closer to us.

For all of them, for all of us, we wish you another year full of good flights!
